Ok guys...we all love NCIS (those on the NCIS forums anyway) and sometimes we get inspired to take that and write stories, called Fan FICTION. The point of fan fiction (at least for me) is to take the characters and have them do things that we'd like to see but that the writers won't necessarily ever put on a script. I have written several such stories and have posted them here on my live journal. All my stories have been based off of NCIS and it's characters and several times throughout my posting I note that I own nothing to do with the show or characters and basically it's all for entertainment purposes. I make up original characters and give them made up names and throw them in the story for good measure (because sometimes I need the federal investigators to INVESTIGATE something). Is it possible to come up with a name someone already has? Absolutely! Does it mean I know them or anything about them? No way. I just pull names out of the air and sound them out and put them together in the story. 

I have recently received comments about the character in my story Just to See Her.  I have since fixed the look of my LJ and those comments were deleted during that process.  However, for those of you who have asked, the name Cole Jackson was put together out of the blue and no, I do not know anyone by this name.  I did not search for a name on the internet nor did I hear this name somewhere and think "That would be a great name to use in a story."  I have no information on the real Cole Jackson and can only offer my prayers and good thoughts as you search for your loved one.

I don't mind comments people, I love them and live for them.  All I ask is that you first take into account that any story on this LJ with NCIS ff in the subject is FanFiction and read the disclaimer on the stories.

From here on out, I will add to the usual disclaimer I put on stories and have them read this --
I do not own NCIS, its characters, storylines or the actors themselves. I have nothing worth major value to sue over. All my stories are adapted from the series (because I'm using the characters) but they are FICTIONAL. Any resemblance to any person, place or thing is purely coincidental and not made to upset anyone. If you do not like this statement, please do not read my stories.
